2022 marks 10-years since ID POP was born out of a love for all things design, and in particular, design for retail.

For those who don’t know the background, ID POP started out offering industrial design (ID) services to the point-of-purchase (POP) industry. Having worked with companies ranging from marketing agencies to manufacturers across Sydney, before eventually taking projects from design all the way through to prototype and manufacture.


ID POP welcomed guest speaker Carla Bridge, General Manager at Shop! ANZ, who presented to our wonderful clients that included representatives from numerous industries ranging from confectionery to prepaid financial services, and liquor and beverage.

Carla kicked off with a fresh look showcasing global trade marketing trends from markets as far as the UK, Russia, and Brazil, followed by a toast to commemorate ID POP’s years of association with POPAI / Shop! ANZ, and of course a trip down memory lane to tell the story of how our agency came about.

Whilst the presentation had a focus on ID POP’s past, it was also an opportunity to enlighten our clients on some of the new innovations and goals around sustainability that the business has achieved. Our team has been actively developing in this space and showcased our commitment to less waste and a more sustainable future for instore marketing material.


A special thank you to those involved in getting our agency up and running at a time when ID POP occupied an attic in a Kings Cross terrace. We have worked on such a range of projects over the years. Whether it was a store front window for Samsung’s flagship Sydney store, a complete checkout counter installation for Dymock’s Sydney, or talking chocolate blocks for a Lindt promotion, we’ve had a taste of it all!

Today ID POP proudly work with some of the most amazing brands with clients as far as Japan, USA, and Spain.
